Chiu Purple Mul Cotton Saree

When the beak taps on the kitchen window we know it’s our chiu wanting to say hi. Chiu is our cat’s friend, they spend hours together, one on the outside and the other one on the inside over the kitchen counter. Chiu Chiu is inspired by the little sparrow twins, passing each other a morsel of food that they have gathered. We have designed a dainty print for our dainty little birds. The border and pallu are inspired by the abstract leaves and branches where the birds often fly off to take a nap. This saree comes in wine and peach colour printed on soft mulmul cotton fabric. The saree comes with a wine colour blouse piece as shown in the last picture.
Each saree is approximately 5.5 m in length and 45 inches in width. All sarees come with a separate 80 cm unstitched blouse piece.
All sarees come with edging and tassels.
You might notice some imperfections - a testimony to the 100% original hand printing techniques. The colours might slightly differ due to lighting and photography.
